I’m amazed at God’s faithfulness!
Five years ago today we welcomed Neriah into our little family of two and our world has forever changed in a good way.
She is truly a gift, the sweetest girl.
The latter may seem like a biased opinion coming from me, but those who have had the pleasure, yes pleasure of being in her presence know that she is the sweetest soul. A gift from Heaven.
Neriah is the light God sent us after losing a child.
This post is to celebrate God’s faithfulness, it is also to encourage the woman who is past what the world considers “normal” child bearing age.
I pen this for the woman who has made decisions during her younger days that now thinks that her inability to conceive is God’s punishment for her not so ‘pro-life choices”.
I pen this because I’ve been where you are and I know how heart breaking it can be to want something so bad, and have it then lose it.
I pen this for the woman who has been married for years and still hasn’t conceived.
I pen this to openly thank God for giving me grace to endure the difficult times, so that I may share the testimony that is Neriah; to encourage women who are where I’ve been, God hears you, and it’s for you it shall come to pass.
I pen this to thank all of you who prayed for us and to those of you God used to speak a prophetic Word over us, you know who you are.
I pen this to give praise to the MOST HIGH for hearing my private prayers and rewarding me publicly.
” A drop from Heaven- a poem inspired by Neriah Betts”
“She shall be the seed
Of a fruitful tree”
Affirmed the Maker
“Flesh a long awaited dream
Taken from the shadows
And turned into gleam;
For I have chosen her
To stand as my solid rod
and bare witness
to the Light of God”
composed by my sister friend Cindy Orellana
“For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him”
