I have this thing with monochromatic looks, so much so I planned an entire outfit to match my garage door.
I kid, although matching the garage door wasn’t planned it did give the overall look a nice finishing touch!
Now let’s talk about the reason why you’re reading this post, the outfit hahah!
I’m not a big spender, and I like to save my coins! I’ve mentioned before that I will splurge on certain items but this outfit is certainly not one of them. The entire look cost me less than 70$, and the shoes ( from ASOS) cost 40$, I’ll give you a few minutes to do the math.
As mentioned above I have a thing for monochromatic looks, whether it be denim on denim, black on black ( my ultimate favorite) or in this case Pantone color of the year 2015 Marsala, monochrome outfits rarely disappoint.
The key to nailing a monochrome look is simple, wear the same color in shades that compliment each other, I’m wearing a combination of deep red, blush and light pink.
I will be back to rocking my black on black in no time but figured this oxblood on oxblood wasn’t such bad idea.
Have you given monochromatic outfits a try?
Until next time!
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
