the (random) facts of life

IMG-22

Social media has single handedly changed the way we interact with each other, it’s given us the ability to connect with people on a global scale and enabled us to have some of our favorite celebs right at our fingertips.

When I moved to Chicago a few years ago, I took to Twitter to learn a little more about the city and formed some wonderful friendships with ladies that now hold a special place in my heart.

Social media has also helped me grow my reading audience. I’m thankful for the fine folks like yourselves who consistently come back to read MNH and continue to share links to my blog posts. With that being said, I want to welcome the new readers to my virtual abode by allowing you to get to know me as well as reacquaint myself with those of you who are already familiar with MNH, by sharing 20 random facts about myself, because that is exactly what you were anticipating this Wednesday LOL!

Shall I proceed, yes indeed!

*Ha! My first name is Assaba. And that’s how we met on Facebook – because the name is uncommon. (Remember how we met? That’s a fun story :-D).
*You’re my s-hero for rocking white still with 2 kids. Girl, I look around my place and go… I want more white and light neutrals… if Charlotte can do it, so can I! (I think? *ahem*).
*How do you both manage to run a business and have 2 little kids? Wheeeew! I am convinced God unleashes a new source of energy in us when kids come around!
