I don’t know that there’s a fabric I love more than denim. In my late teens, I remember my best friend and I saving all the money we made working at the mall part time just so we could head to Montreal and purchase Parasuco jeans, which retailed for $100 plus dollars depending on the style. On a part time salary, that was a whole lot of money, ahhhhh to be young(er) and care free!!!
I remember purchasing a distressed pair which had patches all over it. I used to wear them with a red and white halter top…If only I could find a picture.
I wonder what happened to all those jeans, not that it really matters because there’s no way on God’s green earth I would fit them anyway. I’m a looooooooooong way from a size 24/25.
Today, I revisit my love of denim by rocking this thrifted jumper I found last summer at my local thrift store. I paired with a denim shirt and my yellow oxfords, nothing in life is complete without the right pair of shoes… nothing! ;)
I love the versatility this jumper offers, it can be worn pretty much any season… For colder months, wear an overzised sweater over it, tights and your favorite pair of shoes.
For summer months wear it open over your favorite pair of cut offs and tank paired with a pair of wooden heeled wedges or button it up, throw a crop top underneath and a pair of Birkenstock like sandals to finish the look. As I always say: the possibilities are endless.
