With baby on the way, I’ve been looking for ways to make this pregnancy as smooth as possible. The first few weeks were rough, the constant nausea and inability to smell or eat anything was no walk in the park. Because of those two symptoms, I decided to take a holistic approach to help me maximize my physical health and reduce the common discomforts of pregnancy.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve experienced what I like to call the belly itch. As you advance in your pregnancy, the skin on your belly will often stretch, hence causing you to itch. As my belly continues to expand, I have found relief thanks to Balm and Co.’s Bump Balm, which I use religiously. The smell is divine and the balm is made of natural products.
I’ve been following Valerie on IG for quite some time, and I can honestly say that she is one of my favorite accounts to follow. Her feed is encouraging and inspirational. I was excited to finally get my hands on her book “praying for you baby” and let me tell you that it is filled with wisdom.
It’s a proven fact that talking to baby while they’re in the womb enhances the bond between mother and child. I love this book, and if prayer is vital in your life and your family I urge you to get your hands on this book ASAP.
Have you seen my IG feed lately? Most of it revolves around food! I’ve been indulging an awful lot and I need to do better. While browsing the app. store I came across Yummly.
The app is filled with delicious healthy recipes and I plan on trying a few of them this week.
I like cooking and I’m always looking for new recipes to entertain my pallet. I’ve got my eye on you lentil salad! I will let you know how it turns out!
This pretty much wraps up this week’s mommy and me ( maternity edition). Make sure to check out the above mentioned app, book and balm, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Until next time.
