I always strive to use my blogging an business platforms to uplift, encourage and be of service to other women, mothers. As a blogger and business owner, I’m blessed to have great opportunities presented to me to attend various events, host giveaways and so forth. In an effort to grow my audience organically, I’m very selective of said opportunities and always base my partnerships by asking myself a few questions and the most important ones are 1) will this be of interest to my reading audience and 2) will this allow me to use this platform for its purpose.
When I was approached by j.jill to host a shopping party, I wondered how they managed to combine two of my favorite things (shopping and partying) and of course I was all ears, but when the purpose behind the whole event was explained to me, I knew that this was something I wanted to be part of.
As you may (or may not) know, I’m all about comfort and absolutely love that j. jill’s designs focus on garments that exude simplicity and relaxed femininity. But what I love even more is the j.jill compassion fund!
Established in 2002, the J Jill Compassion Fund is committed to providing support to community based organizations that help disadvantaged and homeless women regain their independence through various programs that focus on education, job skills and transitional and affordable housing.
The J.Jill Compassion Fund has donated more than $6 million to over 60 organizations across the country and on October 20th 2014 I will be joining forces with them to assist in helping style the deserving ladies of HOW ( Housing Opportunities for Women, Inc)
