As I get older my taste in music is slowly changing and I find myself being cautious to what I listen to because I have a toddler who absorbs everything. I certainly don’t want her walking around belting out songs with less than desirable lyrics.
We love a good tune and there are always jams blaring at the Betts residence. Most mornings, the husband will start us off with some of his favorite Gospel hits as he gets ready for work. When he leaves Neriah and I continue the party with Laurie Berkner’s Rocketship Run, Pharell’s Happy or African beats. We have a pretty wild playlist.
Music is always something I’ve appreciated it, and some of it I should probably stay away from, like Tupac and Biggie, but I cant!
Those two rappers are part of the cloth that formed my appreciation for 90’s rap. Biggie’s Juicy, Hypnotize and Big Poppa are tunes my mind won’t let me forget. And Tupac, goodness let’s not talk about Tupac. My girlfriend and I once filled a single CD with 2pac’s Hit ’em up and played it in the limo on our way to prom. We still laugh about it to this day.
Which leads me to today’s post.
Unfortunately for Neriah and fortunately for me, I get to pick what she wears, and you can only imagine my excitement when I laid eyes on PSM’s website. Mini B.I.G. shirts for my mini me ?! *adds to cart*
I still won’t listen to B.I.G or Deux Pac around my child for obvious reasons but she will rock this shirt… again for obvious reasons.
Check out a few more items I’m loving below.
my younger brother and I loved this song ( don’t judge us)
“I can’t believe today was a good day“.
