blue butterflies

jump3side hair part inspired by Lupita

When I announced that I was expecting a little over two years ago, family and close friends rejoiced. I had been married for about 5 years at the time and Neriah was the child they were waiting for. Five years is equivalent to a century in African years so you know our folks were ready for a grandchild.

Because of N’s long awaited arrival, g-ma , granny, aunties, cousins and close friends were ready to spoil and they did just that. Neriah’s wardrobe outgrew mine in a matter of months and many of the items that were gifted were way too big for her to wear at the time.

She was a pretty small baby and to this day she still fits some 18-24 months clothing depending on the

brand.

I recently went through a box I had put away filled with oversized items for N and out of it came the sweet baby blue romper she’s pictured wearing.

I wish I knew where it was purchased to share the info with you but I don’t :(  – I do know that it was purchased by my sis-in- law, but it was purchased so long ago which leads me to believe that the possibility of this exact item still being available is slim, but then again you never know.

I hope the “spoil factor” is still in full force when our second child comes around.

Until next time :)

Ohh, she’s gorgeous and I love her dress and the Lupita inspired hair. My daughter was the exact opposite of N and really tall for her age still is (my husband’s tall). The abuse these dolls put up with lol

Hey girl! Isn’t it crazy the abuse they put these little dolls through! I used to show my dolls so much love. Thank you for the sweet words Adanna, you rock!
