travel chronicles

I’m back in Chicago after spending a few wonderful days with my family in Boston to celebrate my cousin’s vow renewal after 10 years of marriage. She married the love of her life at the very young age of 20, and they renewed their vows on her 30th birthday. It was such an honor to stand with her at the altar as part of the wedding party. The ceremony was beautiful and so was she.

My husband and I, along with Neriah met my folks in Bean town , and it was so good to see my brothers, aunties and allllllll of my cousins, it was such a good time, and although it was great to see everyone, I’m glad to be home to rest a little. Africans love to party and ummm I can’t hang like I used to.

While there, we attended a cookout over at one of my cousin’s house and I kept my

look simple and comfortable with a pair of peach colored chucks, high waist black jeans and a stripped loose fitting crop top. See how else I rock the crops here, here and here.

Had a mini photo session wit my cute nieces too. People often think they’re twins but they’re not, just very close in age, one year to be exact, but equally cute!

I love how photo ready they remained while I was running my mouth talking mess to my cousins and brother.

See the proof below.

And of course my younger brother had to get a few pictures too – He’s also made an appearance here – R and A (my older bros) I got you next time.

Until next time :)
