summer daze

We’ve been away on the east coast all weekend.

The weather was nice, but nothing compared to the hot day we came back to on Sunday.

It put us in a summer daze :)

So what do we do on a warm Sunday afternoon?

We head outside to play.

we took a friend along

Allow me to introduce you to Moosey; Neriah’s newest friend.

We picked him up at Ikea a few weeks ago and he’s been her faithful companion ever since.

If you read this blog regularly, you then know that Brobee used to be her friend. Well he’s been replaced, and so has her fondness for Yo Gaba Gaba.
It’s amazing how things change, just a few months ago she couldn’t get enough of DJ Lance Rock and company.

So tell me, what are some of your favorite outdoor activities during warmer months?

Leave a comment below, I would like to know :)

Until next time bee3

I see two of my favorite gals have met virtually – woot woot! I’m in good mommy company;). As for me, well, as you know, my kid is grown, but we do love to have mother-son walks where we talk about his dreams to make it to the NBA. That’s one of my favorite things to do with J.

What cute photos! Your daughter is so adorable! I live in Houston, TX and it’s already feeling like summer over here as well. This weekend, we discovered a state park that’s about 20 minutes from our house. They have hiking, fishing, biking, play areas for the kids and lots of space to picnic if you just want to hang out and enjoy nature. Oh, and this park has alligators too! So we spent most of the day being in awe of the alligators. My son loved it!

Hey Lori :) Thanks for stopping by :) Wow that sounds like fun, I’ve always wanted to visit Texas. Now that I’m a mom I’m constantly looking for outdoor activities to keep my daughter busy, and she loves being outside, so I plan on keeping her busy this summer.
BTW, thank you so much for the kind words.
Oh and your blog is awesome, such positivity!
