As a young girl, I remember seeing this dress, delicately folded amongst other valuable garments my mother kept in her closet. I later discovered that the special dress was once mine. She was keeping it for me to pass on to my own daughter.
Being that I was born in Africa, the dress’s fabric is light and fit for a warmer climate. And at the rate at which my daughter is growing, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to have her wear it. So we played dress up, snapped a few pictures to send to my mother and of course to share with you!
I will be keeping this dress for Neriah’s daughter as well ;)
Have you or will you be keeping anything to pass on to your child?
Leave a comment below and let me know ;)
Until next time!
